XP Means Xtreme Parallel

XP is XTREME PARALLEL! Parker is taking parallel limb technology to a new level that goes way beyond clever marketing and rests in your hands when you're in the field. Engineering a bow with parallel limbs is more than just laying the limbs back at a different angle. To do the job right there needs to be a delicate balance between limb pocket angle, limb design and cam engineering. Every Xtreme Parallel bow in Parker’s product line has been extensively engineeered and tested to optimize all three. A Parker XP bow in your hands is nothing short of the ultimate in performance and vibration dampening.

Parker has incorporated XP technology into seven all new bows for 2007. The Pioneer XP, Legend XP, Trailblazer XP, Wildfire XP, Buck Hunter XP, Contender XP and Challenger XP proudly incorporate this ground breaking archery advancement. VP of Sales and Product Engineering Johnny Grace characterized Xtreme Parallel this way "Everything in bow engineering is a trade off. Reaching a perfect balance is rare. It seems a gain in one area means a loss in another. I truly believe Parker has acheived that rare perfect balance with the XP engineering concept. It's taken Parker significant effort and testing but when you have one of our XP bows in your hand one shot is worth any words I could use to describe the feeling. I'm confident we've nailed this one."

Only time will tell of course but if you get a chance to shoot one of Parker's new XP bows the balance and absence of hand shock will deliver the XP message .... smooth!
